NAMé Recycling - Giving plastic waste a second life

Business Case

Last updated: Jul 8, 2022

Summary

NAMé Recycling works to reduce plastic pollution in Cameroon and Gabon by giving plastic waste a new life. Independent pickers collect the plastic waste from households, from the street and from municipal collection centres. NAMé Recycling has also placed collection bins to ease the collection process. The plastics are sorted and processed to be exported to European companies for production. NAMé Recycling works with PET, HDPE and LDPE plastics.
